I learned to navigate through worries and fears when I was a child by focusing on my strengths ... curiosity, creativity, and an ongoing desire to create healthy habits. I have been drawn to the powerful mind, body, and spirit connection throughout my life, both personally and professionally.
I received a bachelor of science degree in Therapeutic Recreation and a master's degree in Natural Health. I began my clinical career as a registered recreation therapist and moved into healthcare management, patient relations, and service excellence until my semi-retirement in 2017.
I am also a certified hypnotherapist, receiving my diploma in clinical hypnotherapy with high honors from nationally accredited HMI, College of Hypnotherapy. I have worked for many years as a hypnotherapist and HeartMath™️ coach. I feel very privileged to assist individuals in achieving their self-improvement goals.
My personal and professional experience ignited my desire to empower children with self-care tools. And what better way to reach young learners than through a playful children's picture book? This inspired me to write Brady and the Backyard Monster! It's been a long journey but well worth it with amazing results, thanks to the talented folks at BiblioKid Publishing and the beautiful illustrations by Olena Kharkovenko.
I live with my very supportive husband, Sabatino, and very active Labrador retriever, Brady. I have two adult sons, Taylor and Trevor, who always encourage me with each new challenge I embrace. I enjoy digging in the dirt alongside my retriever, swimming, photography, wildlife, reading, baking, new adventures, and spending time with friends and family.
I'd love to hear from you, please send me a message and let me know what you think of Brady and the Backyard Monster. Thank you for checking out my website!
Wishing you & yours all the best,
